Scattering
(Sea Burial @ Changi)

Ashes may also be scattered at sea. The Maritime Port Authority (MPA) has designated a site located about 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) south of Pulau Semakau where cremated ashes can be scattered. This can be conducted daily, from 1000 hours -1600 hours.


Families may choose either of two options:


Option A:

1. Participate in the transfer of the cremated remains at Mandai Crematorium's Ash Collection Centre with All Saints Concierge

(Process takes up to 30 mins)

2. Travel to the ferry terminal to embark on a private chartered boat for 12 family members including All Saints Concierge

(Travel time takes up to 30 -50 mins subjected to traffic)

3. The boat will bring the family to the designated point where scattering of ashes is conducted

(Process takes up to 30 mins)

Option B:

1. Amazing Grace Concierge will collect the cremated remains on the family's behalf

2. Family members will meet with All Saints Concierge at the ferry terminal directly to embark on a private chartered boat for 12 family members

3. The boat will bring the family to the designated point where scattering of ashes is conducted

(Process takes up to 30 mins)


Scattering hours:


10.00 am - 4.00pm daily


A gentle note that the boat for sea burial can only accommodate up to 10 family members, 1 religious staff and 1 funeral staff.


Please bring along your NRIC, in case there is a police coast guard check.
